What does an electrical inspection cost in 2026?

Standard villa inspection (up to 150 m²): 3,500–6,500 SEK.

Larger villa (over 200 m²) or with extensions/guest house: 5,500–10,000 SEK.

Flat: 2,000–4,000 SEK.

Electrical inspections are not ROT-eligible.

What's checked?

Fuse box condition, RCDs, breakers, labelling.

All visible outlets, switches and fixtures, grounding, hotspots, loose connections.

Thermal imaging on the fuse box and heavy-use points, detects overheating before fire.

RCD test, does it trip at the correct leakage current?

When do you need an inspection?
